Vision 2030 Greenspace Partners on Comprehensive Plan Update for Hall County
The Vision 2030 Greenspace Committee had the opportunity to address the Hall County Board of Commissioners at their work session on June 10th. The committee has been working with Hall County Planning on the update of the Comprehensive Plan, including the development of a dedicated Greenspace chapter. Chairman, Tony Herdener, expressed gratitude to the Commission for being included in the process and enthusiasm for continuing to partner with the county as the plan is implemented.
Georgia Counties are required to submit an updated Comprehensive Plan to the state every 7 years. This plan serves as the roadmap for growth and development in Hall County. This plan is intended to balance population, economic, and employment growth with the desire to maintain rural character, greenspace, and natural resources.
